Internship description:

Supervised Programs A and B

A) Primary Health Care & Public Health
This is an internship in the Bahiana's outpatient clinic for Primary Health Care integrated into the Public Health System through a partnership with the government. It includes actions for the promotion of health and health education.
 
B) Outpatient Clinic for Specialized Care 
The internships take place with small supervised groups and there are vacancies in the following areas for 2025/ 2026: Pulmonology - Cardiology - Gastroenterology - Neurology - Psychiatry - Rheumatology - Dermatology - Medicine of Family and Community - Children's Health - Women's Health - Elderly Health (The student can choose two or three areas of interest).

There are supervised programs (A and B) that lead to a greater understanding of the correlation between Social Determinants of Health in a developing country and prevalent symptoms and illness.

Prerequisites:
Internship A: Medical Student (from 3rd to 6th year)
Internship B: Medical Student ( from 5th to 6th year)

Workload: 40h/ per week 

Period of program:
4 weeks (April, May, August, September and October)
8 weeks (April, August, September and October)
